The situation

A red and navy Persian rug sat under the main seating group, with a cream sofa and matching armchairs around it. • Heavy dry soil removal. Wool holds dry soil exceptionally well, which is why it looks dull long before it looks dirty. Most of the work here is vacuuming, not washing.

The result

The reds came back saturated and the navy separated from the black again, which is what gives a Persian rug its depth. No bleeding, no shrinkage, no fringe damage.
